Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tim Horton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paddy McIrish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horton uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McIrish.
Horton appears to be looking for a big counter.
Paddy McIrish seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horton misses with a two punch combination.
Horton takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
McIrish connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
McIrish throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Horton scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Paddy McIrish has been cut.
McIrish swinging wildly here.
As McIrish looks to move away, Horton throws a big counter combo bu McIrish just gets out of the way.
McIrish closes the distance and lands a one-two.
McIrish cracks Horton with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Horton misses with a few strikes there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McIrish avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McIrish dodges the punch combination from Horton.
Horton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McIrish moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McIrish scores with a punch to the head.
McIrish will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McIrish cracks a nice hook into Horton's ribs.
McIrish misses with a combination
and Horton counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks McIrish badly! He tries to strike back but Horton puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks McIrish out cold! Oh man, McIrish will never hear the end of this one!
