Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul has chosen Volbeat-Warrior's call as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ethan Paul is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paul tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brown paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Paul connects with a body shot that sends Brown's belly button to the back.
Paul throws a leg kick which misses Brown's front leg but catches the back leg as Brown tries to avoid it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Paul has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Paul shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brown pinned against the cage. Brown gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ethan Paul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Paul throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Paul raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Paul throws a right and a left that Brown avoids nicely.

and Brown decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Paul's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Brown's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Brown postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Paul working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brown doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brown manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Brown passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Paul!

It looks like Ethan Paul has been cut.
Brown definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Ethan Paul's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ethan Paul's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
