The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steele gets the takedown into side control.

Steele has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Steele tries to sprawl but Barlow drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Steele wants to control but Barlow is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Steele is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Barlow's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Barlow's back!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Barlow tries to roll but Steele sticks to his back.
Barlow breaks Steele's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Steele wants to sweep here but Barlow controlling him for the moment.
Barlow wanted to stand there but Steele had control of the position.
Barlow will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Steele wants to get back to his feet but Barlow passes into half guard.

Steele tries to roll over but Barlow keeps him under control.
Barlow controlling the pace.
Barlow wants to stand but Steele has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barlow sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Steele defending well though.
Barlow really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Steele trying to get back to full guard but Barlow takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Steele is looking to improve his position but Barlow isn't that keen on the idea.
Poor strikes thrown by Barlow there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Barlow lands with some strikes.
Steele bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Barlow escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Steele gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Barlow looking for a triangle here. Steele is fighting it but it looks tight! Barlow pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Steele is tapping out - this one is all over!
