PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randal Burt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ken Masters told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ken Masters!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burt moves out of range as Masters strikes.
Burt tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Masters manages to circle out of the way.
Burt looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like Randal Burt has been cut.
Masters falls off balance throwing a combination

and Burt counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Burt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Masters throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Burt.
Ken Masters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burt swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Masters! But no joy.
Masters moves into range and connects with a jab.
Masters catches Burt with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Burt forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
