Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bang Silouge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacques Mesrine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mesrine is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by No Church In The Wild. On his way into the ring it seems that Bang Silouge has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bang Silouge seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silouge paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Silouge enables Mesrine to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Silouge manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Mesrine decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Silouge, up you get!

Mesrine is trying to drag Silouge to the mat but Silouge just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Mesrine manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the ropes.
Silouge tries to circle away but Mesrine has him pinned against the ropes.
Mesrine jumps guard but Silouge turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Mesrine turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mesrine manages to end up in side control.

A frustrated look appears on Silouge's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Mesrine jumps guard but Silouge stands there with Mesrine around his waist. Mesrine gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Mesrine fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silouge, pushing him back against the ropes.
Mesrine has Silouge pressed against the ropes, preventing Silouge from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Mesrine's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Mesrine decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Silouge pushes Mesrine off looking to stand but Mesrine dives back in and keeps control.

Jacques Mesrine decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
