Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Connor!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab-cross combination lands for Connor and sends Man Choi crashing to the mat! Connor follows him down to the mat - Man Choi regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Man Choi is staying active underneath Connor, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Connor is controlling the pace.
Man Choi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Connor on the ground.
Man Choi is trying to maintain the position but Connor is very close to passing his half guard.
Connor is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Man Choi is staying active underneath Connor, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Connor wants to pass the guard but Man Choi is defending well.
Connor missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Man Choi blocking the ground and pound attempt from Connor.
Connor has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Man Choi slips a straight right by Connor.
A punch combination from Connor misses.
Connor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Man Choi takes a swing at Connor's ribcage but misses.
Man Choi stuffs the takedown.

Connor shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Man Choi on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Man Choi tries to get out of the position.
Connor wants to control from the top but Man Choi keeps moving.
Connor is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Connor is looking to work some ground and pound but Man Choi has wrist control.
Man Choi controls Connor momentarily but Connor frees himself.
Man Choi keeping moving, preventing Connor from controlling successfully.
Man Choi pulls Connor in close to prevent any damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Connor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Connor controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Man Choi keeping full guard, as Connor tries to pass.
Connor thows a big elbow that misses.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Man Choi throws a chopping leg kick but Connor manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Connor looks to land a combination but Man Choi avoids it well.

Man Choi has taken the fight to the clinch.
Connor is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Connor wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Man Choi has him pressed against the cage.
Man Choi lands an elbow inside.


It looks like John Connor has been cut.
Nice elbow from Man Choi.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Connor can't break the clinch.
Connor takes an elbow to the temple.


That has opened up John Connor's cut even more.
Nice elbow from Man Choi.
Connor wants a takedown.
NoSkills Man Choi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Connor.
Connor looks gassed!
Connor misses with a hook to the ribs.
Connor takes an elbow to the temple.


The cut above John Connor's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Connor jumps guard but Man Choi stands there with Connor around his waist. Connor gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Man Choi lands a damaging elbow.


John Connor's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at John Connor's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
