Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Piotr Witczak!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Witczak.
Witczak misses with a straight right.
It looked like Jonhes wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Witczak throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jonhes counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Witczak throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jonhes dodges the punch combination from Witczak.
It looked like Jonhes was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Witczak swings widly with a right hand
and Jonhes counters with a three punch combo that has Witczak backing up. Witczak nods at Jonhes to acknowledge the strikes.
Some wild striking there from Jonhes.
Jonhes steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Witczak.
Jonhes dips to his left and cracks Witczak with an uppercut!
Jonhes keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Witczak.
Witczak walks into a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Witczak throws a right and a left that both miss.
It looked like Jonhes was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Witczak.
Jonhes is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Witczak rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jonhes counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Witczak misses with a series of wild punches.
Witczak just misses with a punch to the body.
As Witczak looks to move away, Jonhes throws a big counter combo bu Witczak just gets out of the way.
Witczak throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Jonhes counter with a right hand.
Jonhes ducks right into an uppercut from Witczak.


It looks like Paul Jonhes has been cut.
Witczak misses with a looping left.
Witczak misses with a wild combination.
Jonhes throws a right and a left that Witczak avoids nicely.
Witczak throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Witczak misses with a wild combination.
Jonhes swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Jonhes ducks under a wild hook from Witczak.
Sloppy strikes from Jonhes. Those never looked like landing.
Witczak misses with a lunging right hand
and Jonhes counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Witczak missing with a left hand there. Jonhes was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Witczak throws a right hand that Jonhes ducks under and follows up with a left that Jonhes also avoids with ease.
It looked like Jonhes was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Witczak might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Jonhes lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Jonhes fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Witczak falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Jonhes to counter with a crisp jab.
Jonhes scores with a sloppy right hand. Witczak should have avoided that one.
Jonhes gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A looping hook to the body misses from Witczak. Jonhes does a little dance to reset his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Witczak scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jonhes doesn't seem bothered though.
Jonhes is breathing heavily.
Witczak finds Jonhes's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Jonhes flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Witczak lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Jonhes will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Piotr Witczak!
