Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Satoshi Ishii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francis Franko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Franko, right into the meat.
Ishii shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Franko throws a shot to the body.
Franko looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Ishii tries to clinch up.
Ishii takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Satoshi Ishii has been cut.
Ishii clinches with his opponent.
Ishii is looking for a takedown.
Franko goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Franko manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Ishii wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Satoshi Ishii. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Franko digs a right hand into Ishii's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Ishii's gas tank.

Ishii has Franko pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Franko manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Come on Ishii - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Franko is pressed up against the cage. Ishii has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Franko down to the mat. Franko avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Franko's coach down at Training Ground was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Franko's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Franko slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Both fighters circling a little - Franko finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Ishii is breathing heavily.
Franko lands with a shot to the body.
Franko lands a nice hook to Ishii's body. Ishii takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Franko lands a leg kick that knocks Ishii off balance momentarily.

Franko thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ishii if he has to take too many more of those.

Franko digs a good body shot into Ishii's ribs.
Franko throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Franko. Ishii shrugs it off though.
Franko delivers a nice body kick.
Ishii moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ishii closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Satoshi Ishii's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Ishii dives in for a single leg takedown but Franko sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Franko ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Francis Franko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Franko lands a big head kick that sends Ishii tumbling to the mat! Franko takes a step backwards and waves Ishii back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Ishii is rocked!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Satoshi Ishii's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Francis Franko!
