Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Latham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kron Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Latham comes to the cage accompanied by Frontier Psychiatrist - The Avalanches. Gracie is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Bravery - time won't let me go. Mark Latham has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kron Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws a shot from downtown. Latham moves away and avoids it.
A big right from Latham misses.
Latham fails in his attempt to clinch.
Gracie slips a straight right by Latham.
Latham tries to close the distance and clinch but Gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mark Latham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie looks to land a combination but Latham avoids it well.

Latham clinches up with Gracie and pushes him back against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Gracie has a couple of punches blocked by Latham.

Latham works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Gracie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Latham manages to get himself to full guard.

Latham can't keep his opponent in guard - Gracie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Gracie is taking a breather. Latham says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Latham is looking for a sweep. Gracie is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Latham is pressing down on Gracie's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Latham is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Latham is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Latham has his foot on Gracie's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gracie works his way back into a safe position though.

Latham walks into a stiff left hand from Gracie.
Latham throws a leg kick but Gracie checks it.
Gracie lands with an uppercut that bounces Latham off the cage and back into rage.
A telegraphed right hand from Latham misses the target.
Latham is looking to clinch.
Gracie slips under a jab from Latham.
Latham throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Latham ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gracie moves away.
Latham has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Latham uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gracie.
Gracie moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Latham.
Latham throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gracie throws a right and a left that both miss.
Latham pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Gracie's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Gracie duly obliges.
Gracie fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Latham on the side of the head.
Latham misses with a body kick.
Latham shoots for a double leg takedown but Gracie sprawls well. He's pushed Latham's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Latham is breathing heavily.
Latham thows a body shot but no joy.
Gracie works over Latham's head and body with a nice combination.
A telegraphed right hand from Latham misses the target.
Latham throws a low kick, looking for Gracie's leg but Gracie calmly moves out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gracie tries to bum rush Latham with a series of wild strikes but Latham uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gracie's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Gracie duly obliges.
Gracie lands a head shot.

Latham is rocked!
Gracie closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Latham! Gracie dives in looking to finish! Latham is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
