Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Lima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chip Freedom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lima comes to the ring accompanied by DMX - Ain't no sunshine. Freedom has chosen Star Spangled Banner as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freedom jabs Lima to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Freedom throws a head kick that misses.
Freedom misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lima went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Freedom lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lima circles away quickly and effectively.
Freedom lands a high kick!

It looks like Douglas Lima has been cut.
Freedom throws a leg kick
and Lima counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Freedom lands with a cross.
Lima uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Freedom.
Freedom throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Lima makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Freedom really felt that one!
An inside leg kick lands from Freedom.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Freedom throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lima counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
A looping hook to the body misses from Freedom. Lima does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lima slips under a jab from Freedom.
Freedom throws an off balance right hand
and Lima counters with an outside leg kick.
Freedom looks winded!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Freedom misses with a series of wild punches.
As Freedom looks to move away, Lima throws a big counter combo bu Freedom just gets out of the way.
Freedom moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Freedom rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lima moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Freedom misses with an uppercut.
Freedom throws a head kick that misses
and Lima counters with a three punch combo that has Freedom backing up. Freedom nods at Lima to acknowledge the strikes.
Freedom throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Freedom throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Freedom throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Lima counters with a series of strikes that sends Freedom to the canvas! Lima follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!

Freedom is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lima controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Freedom is still in real trouble! Can Lima finish him?
Lima chips away with some ground and pound.
Freedom wants to hit a switch here but Lima passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Freedom there!
Freedom is bucking up trying to escape but Lima cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lima connects with a bit shot that sees Freedom covering up! More strikes from Lima and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Lima is our winner by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Douglas Lima!
Douglas Lima was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
