Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Avery Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simon Gold has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gold misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A jab lands there for Gold.
Austin wants to clinch
and Gold counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gold misses with an uppercut. Austin saw that one coming.
Austin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Austin gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Gold takes the fight into the clinch.

Austin manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gold feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Austins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Austin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gold manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Austin on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Austin is rocked!
Gold goes for a small jab and connects. Now Gold goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Austin stumbles back but Gold runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Austin to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Austin will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
