Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Travis Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cappie Ragnard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Travis Keller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cappie Ragnard!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Ragnard misses the target.
Keller is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Ragnard.
Keller uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ragnard.
Keller tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Ragnard manages to circle out of the way.
Ragnard misses with a body shot.

Ragnard closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Keller to the mat! Keller manages to get full guard.
Ragnard wants to control from the top but Keller keeps moving.
Ragnard throws a big right hand that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ragnard passes into half guard.
Ragnard is pressing down on Keller's thigh, looking to free his foot. Keller is holding on for now.

Ragnard is controlling the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ragnard prevents Keller from standing back up.
Keller's coaches at have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Ragnard is looking to advance position but Keller won't allow it.
Ragnard wants to lay and pray for a moment but Keller keeps working.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ragnard might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Keller haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ragnard throws a big shot that misses.
Keller is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Ragnard.

Ragnard closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Keller's guard.
Ragnard looking to pass the guard.
Ragnard wants to control from the top but Keller keeps moving.

Ragnard postures up in Keller's guard and throws a big left but Keller blocks it.
Ragnard throwing strikes from guard but Keller blocks nicely.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Ragnard sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Keller's guard.

Ragnard is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Keller doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ragnard.

Ragnard is working for a kimura but Keller is defending it quite comfortably.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ragnard tries to pass to full mount but Keller defends it.
Keller on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Keller tries to get out of the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Keller pushes Ragnard off looking to stand but Ragnard dives back in and keeps control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cappie Ragnard dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Keller steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ragnard.
Ragnard swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Keller tries to counter by clinching up but Ragnard breaks away and moves out of range.

Ragnard shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Ragnard throws a big right hand that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ragnard accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ragnard has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Ragnard looking to pass the guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ragnard slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Ragnard drops back looking for a leg! Keller is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Keller manages to kick Ragnard off! Ragnard jumps back into Keller's guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Ragnard feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ragnard wants to control from the top but Keller keeps moving.
Ragnard in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Keller is looking to stand up but Ragnard isn't so interested in that idea.
Ragnard advances to half guard.
Ragnard wants to take a breather but Keller is having none of it.

Ragnard is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Keller sees it coming and defends easily.
Ragnard works his foot free and advances to mount.
Ragnard throwing strikes here but Keller is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Ragnard trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Cappie Ragnard has got the better of the ground game so far.
Ragnard sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Cappie Ragnard showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ragnard drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ragnard jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Keller wants to stand up but Ragnard is controlling him.

Ragnard seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Keller does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Cappie Ragnard comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ragnard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
