Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Dame (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Sampson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dame comes into the arena with Sabendo Que Posso Morrer - Matanza blaring out of the sound system. Steven Dame had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Steven Dame!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rock Sampson!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dame swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sampson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Dame shoots in for a takedown but Sampson shows good takedown defense.
Dame throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sampson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dame throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Dame shoots in and bounces Sampson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Dame throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dame drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Dame seems to have locked his on tight now - Sampson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Dame, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Steven Dame!
A relieved looking Steven Dame thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
