Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mata Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes into the arena with Metal Militia blaring out of the sound system. Mata Hughes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mata Hughes!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hughes quickly recovers to half guard.

Hughes shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
