Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McDonald shoots in for a takedown but French shows good takedown defense.
McDonald tries to clinch up but French circles away and keeps his distance.
McDonald shoots in but no luck this time.

French will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

French looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

McDonald looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for McDonald. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

French's corner calls for a 1-2. French obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

French catches McDonald napping and connects with a big right hand that sends McDonald to the canvas!

McDonald is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

French decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Oh McDonald is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

French decides to return to a standing position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

McDonald misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
French swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

French throws a quick head kick that skims the top of McDonald's head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

McDonald decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
French tries to kick McDonald off but McDonald keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

McDonald stops French from getting back to his feet.
French keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

McDonald is looking to take a break and control but French is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Franky French comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
