Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between George Lonkar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Rico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lonkar comes to the cage accompanied by Blow Me Away. George Lonkar looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rico looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Rico works his way into full mount!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Rico working for a submission but Lonkar is keeping him at bay.
Rico tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Rico tries to control but Lonkar wriggling away.
Rico controlling his opponent.
Lonkar is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Rico controlling the position easily from mount.
Rico's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Rico working for a guillotine from mount but Lonkar is in no mood to give up.

Lonkar is squirming around, avoiding Rico's attempts to control the action.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jonny Rico just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lonkar tries to clinch up.
Lonkar moves into range and clinches up with Rico.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Rico goes for a takedown attempt but Lonkar pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lonkar scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Lonkar looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Rico is avoiding damage well.
Rico is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Lonkar is controlling him well.
Rico is looking to reverse the position.
Lonkar prevents Rico from escaping the position.
Rico looks gassed!
Rico takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Rico wants to get back to his feet but Lonkar drags him back down.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rico can do anything to dispel that myth.
Rico is trying to get back to half guard.
Lonkar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rico wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Rico is looking to reverse the position.

Lonkar wants to control but Rico is keeping him busy.
Lonkar is working to tighten is grip on Rico's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Rico has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lonkar is really squeezing tight and eventually Rico passes out! Lonkar breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
