Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kurtis Boyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Pollo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Pollo's choice of entrance music: Feel the boom. Kurtis Boyer has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Marco Pollo!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pollo throws a series of punches but Boyer moves out of range.
Boyer seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pollo. Boyer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Boyer showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pollo.
As Pollo looks to move away, Boyer throws a big counter combo bu Pollo just gets out of the way.
Pollo misses the shot to the body.
Pollo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Pollo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Boyer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Pollo throws a series of punches but Boyer avoids them all with ease.
Boyer half committed to a counter leg kick.
Pollo stalks Boyer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Boyer's face. Boyer staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Kurtis Boyer has been cut.
Pollo throws a right hand that Boyer ducks under and follows up with a left that Boyer also avoids with ease.
Boyer went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Pollo fails to land with a series of punches.
Pollo throws a right and a left that both miss.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pollo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Boyers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Boyer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pollo but Pollo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pollo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pollo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boyer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pollo.
Boyer seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Boyer slips a jab and a cross from Pollo.
Pollo cracks Boyer with a good jab.
Boyer is rocked!
Pollo fails to land with a series of punches.
Pollo dips to his left and cracks Boyer with an uppercut!
Oh Boyer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pollo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pollo cracks a nice hook into Boyer's ribs.
Boyer with a lazy takedown attempt
and Pollo counters with a crisp right that sends Boyer to the canvas! Pollo follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marco Pollo!
A very excited looking Marco Pollo made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
