Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Selfrid Bergman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Project Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fighter has chosen Mr. Crowley as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Selfrid Bergman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Project Fighter!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bergman shoots in looking for a takedown but Fighter manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bergman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bergman looks for a takedown but Fighter sprawls well.

Fighter shoots in and bounces Bergman off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fighter throws a big right hand that misses.
Fighter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Fighter is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bergman is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bergman has escaped and now he's on top!

Bergman is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fighter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bergman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bergman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fighter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bergman has managed to get both his arms back between Fighter's legs - danger averted.

Fighter keeping moving, preventing Bergman from controlling successfully.
Fighter working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bergman.
Bergman wants to control from the top but Fighter keeps moving.

Fighter looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bergman trying to control but Fighter is working from the bottom.

Bergman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bergman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Fighter wants to improve his position but Bergman is controlling well.

Fighter is looking for a sweep. Bergman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Fighter works his way to full guard. Good work.
Bergman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bergman distracts Fighter with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Bergman wants to control from the top but Fighter keeps moving.

Fighter isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bergman stacks Fighter on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bergman!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fighter tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bergman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Bergman is chipping away with strikes.
Fighter manages to get back to half guard.

Fighter looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Fighter looking for submissions off his back.
Fighter has hold of Bergman's hands but Bergman slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Fighter on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Fighter is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bergman pulls his head out easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fighter gets back to full guard.

Fighter working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Bergman has passed into half guard!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Selfrid Bergman will probably get the nod.
That's time! Bergman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Bergman blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Fighter misses with a punch on the inside.
Fighter prevents the takedown attempt.
Fighter can't find room to land a body shot as Bergman controls the action.

Fighter is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bergman is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fighter to the mat. Fighter regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

A big shot lands for Bergman! That's hurt Fighter! Will he recover? Bergman fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
