The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Kotov. That's going to slow Jones down.

and Kotov counters with a nice low kick that buckles Jones's knee momentarily.

Kotov closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Kotov swings wildly with an uppercut but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kotov after a bit of a struggle.

Kotov throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Kotov! Jones is out on his feet! Kotov rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Jones is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Jones is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
