Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kobe Romeo Paris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manny Machado will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paris takes one to the side of the head.

It looks like Kobe Romeo Paris has been cut.
Paris wants to clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Paris has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Machado misses with an uppercut
and Paris counters with a right hand to the body.
Paris tries to land a front kick but Machado steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Machado moves out of range as Paris throws a body kick.
Machado lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Machado catches Paris with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Machado lands a jab to Paris's midsection.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Machado connects with the punch.
A thudding body kick lands there by Paris!
Paris takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Machado swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Paris fails with a takedown attempt.
Machado works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Machado stuns Paris with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Machado looks to score with a jab to the body but Paris is just out of range.
Paris feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Machado's calf.
Paris misses the shot to the body.
Paris misses with a wild body shot.
Machado is looking for the big counter here.
Paris has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Machado feints with a jab and clips Paris right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Paris is sent crashing into the canvas and Machado leaps in for the kill! Paris tries to get to his feet but Machado is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Paris is in need of a savior and steps in!
