Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyndon Barrett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Queiros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Queiros has chosen Arrastando o teu Cadáver as his entrance music. Lyndon Barrett has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Queiros misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Barrett looks to land a body kick but Queiros moved away.
Barrett uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Queiros.
Queiros checks a low kick from Barrett.
Barrett throws a sloppy head kick and Queiros moves out of range easily.

Queiros bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Barrett tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Queiros wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Barrett gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barrett tries to roll over but Queiros keeps him under control.
Barrett is trying to stand up here but Queiros is controlling him well.

Let's hope that Queiros has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Queiros.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Queiros jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Barrett manages to avoid the submission attempt.

A close second round but Carlos Queiros will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Queiros feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Queiros throws the kick towards the body but Barrett avoids it.

Barrett throws a right hand that Queiros ducks under and follows up with a left that Queiros also avoids with ease.

Queiros shoots in for a takedown but Barrett shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Barrett wants to clinch but Queiros slips to the side
and Queiros counters with a three punch combo that has Barrett backing up. Barrett nods at Queiros to acknowledge the strikes.
Barrett goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Queiros wants to counter with a clinch but Barrett pushes him away.

Barrett throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Barrett tries to clinch but Queiros moves out of range.

Queiros drives through with a takedown into Barrett's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Queiros is pushing down on Barrett's leg trying to pass to half guard. Barrett is fighting to maintain full guard but Queiros has managed to sneak the leg through.

Queiros uses his free foot to push down on Barrett's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Barrett.

Queiros is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Barrett can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
