Williams punishes Simpson's body with a nice straight punch.

Simpson moves forwards but Williams connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Simpson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Simpson lands in his opponent's guard.
Simpson postures up in Williams's guard and throws a big left but Williams blocks it.

Simpson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Simpson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Williams controls Simpson momentarily but Simpson frees himself.
Williams utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Williams is looking for a triangle but Simpson pushes his legs off easily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Williams keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Williams scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Henry Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Williams wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Simpson shoots in but no luck this time.

Williams lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Williams digs a right hand into Simpson's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Simpson's gas tank.
Williams has had enough of the clinch but Simpson keeps him there for the moment.
Williams has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Simpson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
