The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott leaves Balboa with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
We've been informed that Scott has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Balboa takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Balboa misses with a hook.
Scott cracks Balboa with an open hand slap.
Scott tries to bum rush Balboa with a series of wild strikes but Balboa uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Balboa tries to clinch there but Scott circles away.

Scott lands a big head kick that sends Balboa tumbling to the mat! Scott takes a step backwards and waves Balboa back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Rocco Balboa has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Balboa loses concentration momentarily and Scott pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Balboa crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Scott finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
