Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sega Genesis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barack Obama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Genesis comes to the ring accompanied by Sonic the hedgehog theme song -by GENESIS . Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sega Genesis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Barack Obama!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obama misses with a body shot.
Genesis missing with a left hand there. Obama was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Obama misses with a body shot.
Obama looks to score with a jab to the body but Genesis is just out of range.
Genesis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Obama sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Genesis somewhat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A swing and a miss from Obama.

Genesis misses with an uppercut. Obama saw that one coming.
Genesis with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Obama to score with a decent uppercut.
Genesis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Genesis has a takedown stuffed.
Obama tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Donk. Obama catches Genesis right on the button with a cross.
Genesis really is a fat lump.
Genesis moves out of range as Obama strikes.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Obama closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Obama lands in his opponent's guard.

Obama sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Genesis looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Genesis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Obama gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Obama wants to pass the guard but Genesis is keeping the position.
Obama wants to control from the top but Genesis keeps moving.
Obama chips away with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Obama got a little sloppy there for a moment and Genesis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Obama has managed to get both his arms back between Genesis's legs - danger averted.
Obama working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Genesis's head.
Obama is looking to work some ground and pound but Genesis has wrist control.
Obama slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Obama is putting a hurting on Genesis here, landing some big shots from side control.
Obama is looking to take a break and control but Genesis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Obama connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Genesis some visible discomfort.
Genesis manages to get back to half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Genesis is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Obama pulls his head out easily.
Obama prevents Genesis from improving his position.
Obama lands with a punch from half guard.
Genesis is rocked!
Obama creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Genesis is out cold and this one is all over! Obama climbs onto the ropes to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Barack Obama!
After winning the bout, Barack Obama thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Sega Genesis was interviewed post fight and said 'You cheated. ....using cheat codes isnt fair...'.
