Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Monroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rex has chosen Godsmack - Cryin' Like A Bitch as his entrance music. Frank Monroe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rob Rex seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rex looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Rex misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Monroe gets a double leg takedown into Rex's guard.
Rex can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Monroe controls the pace.

Monroe stands up and waves to Rex to follow him.

Rex tries to keep at a distance but Monroe has taken the fight into the clinch.

Rex gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Monroe to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Monroe seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rex for as long as he can get away with.
