Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Curad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dots Raining Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Curad's entrance music is Can't B touched. A fine choice. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tommy Curad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dots Raining Pain!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curad throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Raining Pain counters with a takedown into side control.

Raining Pain is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Curad knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Raining Pain is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Curad has escaped the position, nice work there.
Curad is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Curad tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Raining Pain presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Curad looks out of his depth in this position - he's holding on tight.

Curad wants to hold on but Raining Pain pushes him away.

Raining Pain jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Curad manages to avoid the submission attempt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Raining Pain thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Curad is trying to control Raining Pain's posture but Raining Pain avoids it.

Raining Pain tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Raining Pain is trying to get an arm triangle but Curad is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Raining Pain wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Curad, who protects the arm well.

Raining Pain has hold of Curad's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Curad seems comfortable defending it but Raining Pain has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Curad is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Curad is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Raining Pain couldn't care less - he's delighted!
