The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badoyan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tyson, as that shot connected.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Badoyan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Tyson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Badoyan.

Tyson throws a lazy right hand but Badoyan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Badoyan darts in looking for a takedown but Tyson gets double underhooks and turns Badoyan into the cage.

Badoyan shoots in looking for a takedown but Tyson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Badoyan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Rocky Tyson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tigran Badoyan.

Tyson lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Badoyan is looking to close the distance but Tyson sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Badoyan crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Badoyan is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
