Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kip Aragus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aragus has chosen Kill of the Night - Gin Wigmore as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Collins tried to counter with a leg kick but Aragus avoided it.
Good leg kick by Collins there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Aragus dives in and grabs Collins's left leg, looking for a takedown. Collins pushes down on Aragus's head and hops out.

Aragus shoots in looking for a takedown but Collins manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Aragus's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The fighters circle momentarily. Collins darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Aragus pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Aragus fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Collins looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Collins is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Collins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Aragus.

Aragus shoots for a double leg takedown but Collins sprawls well. He's pushed Aragus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
