The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kane getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Karasova drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Karasova trying to control but Kane is working from the bottom.
Kane will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Karasova is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Kane wants to stand and escape but Karasova is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Christian Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kane throws a looping overhand right but Karasova ducks down to avoid it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Karasova.
A counter left hand to the body from Kane misses its target.

No joy there for Karasova, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Karasova shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kane pinned against the cage. Kane gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kane connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Karasova's hands.
Kane ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Karasova darts in and clinches Kane up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Karasova's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Karasova is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kane throws a jab but it's blocked by Karasova.
Kane throws a shot from downtown. Karasova moves away and avoids it.
Kane uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Karasova has time to react.
Kane thuds a left hand into Karasova's body.

Karasova tries to move into range but Kane moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Kane connects with a looping right hand.
Jab, jab by Kane - just one landing.
Kane feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Karasovas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Kane is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Kane connects with a single shot there.
Karasova takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Karasova pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Karasova has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kane finds it's way round the side to connect with Karasova's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Karasova ducks under a wild hook from Kane.
Karasova's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kane connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Karasova scrambles back to his feet.
Kane is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Karasova takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Kane is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Karasova on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Karasova takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kane throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Donk. Kane catches Karasova right on the button with a cross.
Karasova fails to land the takedown.
Christian Kane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonathan Karasova.
Kane scores with a sloppy right hand. Karasova should have avoided that one.
Kane works the jab nicely.
Kane connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Karasova's hands.

Karasova is still on wobbly legs! Can Kane finish him?
BOOM! Kane lands a beautiful left hook that drops Karasova. Karasova tries to recover but Kane is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Karasova lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Christian Kane!
A relieved looking Christian Kane thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
