Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mauro Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandre Button (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nash gets tackled into the cage by Button. Button maintains the clinch.
Button gets underhooks to prevent Nash's takedown attempt.

Button decides to pull guard.
Button looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Nash stopping the sweep attempt from Button.
Nash works over Button with some ground and pound from guard.
Button working a defensive guard but Nash manages to pass into side control anyway.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Button is looking for a sweep.
Button is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Button wants to improve his position but Nash is controlling well.
Nash will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Nash thows a huge punch but Button dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Button gets full guard.
Nash chips away with some ground and pound.
Button wants to control the position but Nash says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Button is holding on to half guard well.

Nash stops Button from getting back to his feet.
Nash really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Button is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nash's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nash's back!

Button looking for the choke but no joy.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Button really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Nash.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Button.
Oh Nash is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Button is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Nash has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Button has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Nash taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Button doesn't care though - he's delighted!
