PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kamil Olszewicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olszewicz takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
No joy there for Olszewicz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
West feints a counter leg kick.
West lands with a cross.
West connects with a jab.
Olszewicz just misses with a punch to the body.
Olszewicz lands a slapping body shot.
A decent looking body kick lands there for West.
Olszewicz misses the shot to the body.
Olszewicz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from West.
Olszewicz throws the left hand but West avoids the punch easily.
Olszewicz throws a big shot that misses.
Olszewicz misses the shot to the body.
Olszewicz misses with a jab, cross combination.
Olszewicz throws a shot to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
West takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
West uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Olszewicz.
West is looking to clinch but Olszewicz is avoiding it.
West fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Olszewicz has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

West fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Olszewicz, pushing him back against the cage.
West tries to land a knee to the head but Olszewicz blocks with his arms.
West throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Olszewiczs head.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

West's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

West throws a body punch but Olszewicz moves out of range.
Olszewicz misses with a wild body shot.
West throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Olszewicz sees it coming and avoids it easily.

West tries to counter by closing the distance.
West ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Olszewicz moves away.
Olszewicz goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Olszewicz scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

West closes the distance and pushes Olszewicz back into the cage.

West continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
West unloads a knee to the mid-section. Olszewicz lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Oh Olszewicz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
West has Olszewicz pushed against the cage.
A bit of stalling here from West.
West has Olszewicz pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Olszewicz is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from West - that's hurt Olszewicz badly! Oh, another knee lands and Olszewicz is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Olszewicz doesn't seem to be complaining.

After winning the bout, Randy West thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
