Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willie Parsons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Lashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lashley comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Beastmode by-BIONIC KILLAS kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Willie Parsons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bobby Lashley!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lashley.
As Lashley tries to get set, Parsons tries to push him back and clinch up but Lashley manages to avoid the attempt.

Parsons shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lashley is trying to defend but Parsons finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Parsons seems to be looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lashley misses with some strikes from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lashley can do anything to dispel that myth.

Parsons is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lashley doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Parsons.
Lashley is trying to maintain the position but Parsons is very close to passing his half guard.

Lashley wants to get back to full guard.
Parsons seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Lashley is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Parsons could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lashley moves into full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lashley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Parsons's guard.

Lashley throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Parsons works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Lashley wants to control from the top but Parsons keeps moving.
Parsons has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Lashley works over Parsons with some ground and pound from guard.
Parsons wants to get back to his feet but Lashley is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lashley trying to control the position from guard on top but Parsons is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Parsons throws a couple of heel strikes.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lashley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Parsons slips a jab from Lashley.
Nice sprawl there from Lashley as Parsons shoots in.

Lashley fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Parsons to the ground. Lashley is now in Parsons's guard.
Parsons working a defensive guard but Lashley manages to pass into side control anyway.
Parsons can't do much from the bottom here.
Lashley creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Parsons sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Lashley is chipping away with strikes.
Parsons pushes Lashley away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lashley gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Parsons might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Lashley landing strikes.

Lashley is chipping away with strikes.
Parsons wants to get back to his feet.
Check out the look on Lashley's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Parsons tries to buck Lashley off but Lashley is having none of it.

Parsons pushes Lashley away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lashley gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lashley in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Parsons throws Lashley to one side and escapes!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Parsons tries to clinch up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bobby Lashley dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Lashley has taken the fight to the clinch.

Lashley wants the takedown. Parsons is fighting it off but Lashley persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Parsons's guard against the cage.
Parsons will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Lashley looking to sit in guard and control but Parsons gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.


Parsons drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lashley manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Parsons has Lashley in his guard.

Parsons wants to stand up but Lashley is controlling him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Parsons throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Parsons throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Parsons is trying to control the position but Lashley postures up.
Lashley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Lashley chips away with some ground and pound.
Parsons keeping moving, preventing Lashley from controlling successfully.
Lashley has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Lashley tries to free his leg and advance position but Parsons is retaining full guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Lashley drives through with a takedown into Parsons's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Parsons is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lashley is controlling him.

Lashley has managed to clinch.
Parsons is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lashley gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Lashley tries to score a body lock takedown but Parsons shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Parsons successfully pulls guard.
Parsons is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lashley is controlling him.

Parsons wants to stand but Lashley is controlling the position.

Lashley moves into range and clinches up with Parsons.

Bobby Lashley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Lashley swings for the body but Parsons moves out of range.

Lashley pushes Parsons up against the cage in a clinch.

Lashley has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Parsons clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Parsons tries to escape the position.
Lashley trying to control.
Parsons grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lashley is looking to finish with some ground and pound!
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Lashley. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Lashley lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Parsons.


Parsons is rocked!
Lashley is raining down hard shots and and Parsons has had enough - he's tapped out due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Bobby Lashley!
Bobby Lashley bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
