Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Valentin Vang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beef Jerky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Valentin Vang has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Valentin Vang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Beef Jerky!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vang misses with a head kick.
Jerky shoots in looking for a takedown but Vang manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jerky's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Vang wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Vang checks a leg kick nicely.
Vang seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Jerky closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vang circles away.
Jerky dives in for a single leg takedown but Vang sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Valentin Vang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Beef Jerky.
Jerky shoots in but Vang avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Vang tries to counter by clinching up but Jerky breaks away and moves out of range.
Jerky misses with a straight left.
Jerky fails to land with a series of punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vang is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jerky's half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vang wants to get back to his feet.

Vang wants to control but Jerky is keeping him busy.
Vang scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Vang is keen to just control but Jerky is a slippery customer.

Vang is working for a kimura but Jerky is defending it quite comfortably.
Vang has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Jerky works to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jerky is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Vang drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jerky manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Vang has Jerky in his guard.

Vang wants to stand and escape but Jerky is having none of it.
Jerky postures up in Vang's guard and throws a big left but Vang blocks it.
Jerky trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Vang has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jerky can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jerky with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Jerky trying to control the position from guard on top but Vang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jerky connects with a couple of short punches.
Jerky throws a big elbow that misses.
Jerky passes Vang's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Jerky is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jerky lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Jerky winds up and cracks Vang with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Jerky looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Jerky lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Jerky lands a big elbow - Vang is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Jerky!
