The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhou throws out a leg kick but DeSilva moves out of range and Zhou only half commits.
Zhou sizes up DeSilva with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Good leg kick by DeSilva there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as DeSilva accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Zhou throws an uppercut from half a mile away. DeSilva sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts DeSilva, as that shot connected.

DeSilva tries to counter with a takedown but Zhou is quick to defend against it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

DeSilva went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
DeSilva shoots in looking for a takedown but Zhou manages to keep the fight standing, pushing DeSilva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

DeSilva is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Zhou is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Zhou has escaped and now he's on top!

Zhou really doesn't want to stay on the ground with DeSilva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

DeSilva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zhou gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Zhou is looking to stand up but DeSilva won't let him.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now DeSilva is on top in guard.

Zhou pushes DeSilva off looking to stand but DeSilva dives back in and keeps control.

DeSilva is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Zhou defends it well.

DeSilva lands on the inside with an uppercut.

DeSilva pushes Zhou back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Zhou wants to break the clinch but can't.
DeSilva throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

DeSilva scoops up Zhou onto his shoulder and slams him to the mat! Oh, Zhou is hurt! DeSilva smells blood and finishes the fight with a barage of punches! A highlight reel finish there for DeSilva!

DeMarcus DeSilva seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
