Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nicolas Karkmananis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sammy Spishak!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karkmananis takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A head kick misses from Karkmananis.
Spishak unleashes a big counter combination but Karkmananis bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Spishak tries to bum rush Karkmananis with a series of wild strikes but Karkmananis uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Karkmananis half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Spishak keeps the fight on the outside.

Karkmananis moves into the clinch successfully.
Spishak taking a breather.

Karkmananis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Karkmananis slips under a jab.
Spishak will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Karkmananis has managed to clinch.
Karkmananis lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Spishak breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Spishak tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Karkmananis is able to avoid easily.
Karkmananis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Karkmananis!


It looks like Sammy Spishak has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Spishak swings widly with a right hand
and Karkmananis counters with a straight that turns Spishak's legs to rubber! Karkmananis pushes forward with more strikes and Spishak goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nicolas Karkmananis!
