Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Ivey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomi Juntunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ivey might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Friday. Juntunen has chosen Higher Ground by Stevie Wonder as his entrance music. Tomi Juntunen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Ivey as he checks the leg kick.
Ivey appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Ivey cracks Juntunen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Tomi Juntunen has been cut.

Juntunen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Some bone on bone action there as Ivey checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Juntunen has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Juntunen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Juntunen moves out of range of the body kick from Ivey.

Ivey ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Juntunen moves away.
Juntunen throws a leg kick which misses Ivey's front leg but catches the back leg as Ivey tries to avoid it.
Ivey throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
It seemed like Juntunen was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Juntunen throws a body punch but Ivey moves out of range.
Juntunen throws a quick inside leg kick.
Juntunen keeps Ivey at a distance using the push kick.
Ivey takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Juntunen lands with a shot to the body.
Juntunen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ivey looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Juntunen motions for Ivey to come forward. Juntunen throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

and Juntunen counters with a straight right hand.
Ivey connects with a good right hand that stumbles Juntunen. Juntunen circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Juntunen feints and then cracks Ivey's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ivey down.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Ivey might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
