Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Garkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Tate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 16 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Garkov!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tate clinches up against the cage.

Tate manages to break the clinch.
Garkov looks to land a combination. Tate sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Bobby Tate has been cut.
Garkov moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Garkov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Garkov tries to clinch but Tate moves away

and Tate decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Garkov's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tate's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Tate won't allow Garkov to get back to his feet.
Tate stands and throws Garkov's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Garkov is not content to let Tate control the position.
A control attempt from Garkov but he's now mounted!
Tate landing strikes from the mount and Garkov is in trouble!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Garkov is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Tate dominating with strikes here.
Garkov tries to hold on but Tate pushes him away.
Garkov is in a horrible position here. Tate smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Garkov is rocked!

It looks like Sergei Garkov has been cut.

Tate looking for a guillotine from mount but Garkov is having none of it.
Garkov is still in real trouble! Can Tate finish him?

Tate is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Garkov can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Garkov seems to have recovered his senses.
Garkov takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Tate wants to control the pace but Garkov is squirming around nicely.

Tate is landing with some decent strikes but Garkov is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Tate connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tate postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Garkov in real trouble here! The ref calls for Garkov to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
