Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shorty Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reg Kray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shorty Carter could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Reg Kray's chin.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kray misses with a combination
and Carter counters with a three punch combo that has Kray backing up. Kray nods at Carter to acknowledge the strikes.
Carter drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like Shorty Carter has been cut.
Kray clobbers Carter with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Carter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kray lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Carter tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kray defends well and Carter ends up having to push Kray into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Kray unleashes a big counter combination but Carter bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
A head kick misses from Kray.
Carter lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kray's sensitive parts.
Carter avoids a punch combination nicely.

Carter dives in and grabs Kray's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kray pushes down on Carter's head and hops out.

Carter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kray tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Carter swivels and escapes.

Kray paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

A close round but Reg Kray will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fight stays on the outside here - Carter looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kray doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Kray lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carter circles away quickly and effectively.
Reg Kray seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Carter throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Carter shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kray eats them both and turns towards Carter to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kray is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Kray scores with a one two! Carter had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Carter looks to land a combination but Kray avoids it well.
Kray wants to counter the offense by Carter and move into the clinch position.
Kray throws a leg kick which misses Carter's front leg but catches the back leg as Carter tries to avoid it.

Carter darts in and clinches Kray up against the cage.

Kray wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Carter has him pressed against the cage.
Kray will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Carter up against the cage.

Carter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kray swivels and escapes.
Carter throws a right hand that Kray ducks under and follows up with a left that Kray also avoids with ease.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kray closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kray lands in his opponent's guard.

Kray engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kray won't allow Carter to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kray decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Carter lands with a slapping head kick.
Kray swats away the attempt to clinch by Carter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Reg Kray will probably get the nod - 10:9.

That's time! Carter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Kray shoots in for a double leg but Carter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kray leaves Carter with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Kray drops Carter with a beautiful combination! Carter stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kray is looking for the KO!

Oh Carter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shorty Carter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reg Kray.

Kray pivots, looking for a leg kick but Carter is out of range and Kray settles back down.

Carter shoots in and drives through. Kray sprawls well.
Kray flicks out a counter leg kick but Carter steps away.
Carter moves in looking to clinch but Kray pushes him off.

Carter avoids a punch combination nicely.

Carter gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Carter is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kray is controlling him.

Kray controls from within his opponent's guard.

Carter is working an open guard so Kray takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Carter takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Reg Kray is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Carter misses with a looping right.
Shorty Carter has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
