Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Linic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norris comes to the cage accompanied by Scooter - Nesaja. Mario Linic will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linic sizes up Norris with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
No joy there for Norris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Norris tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Norris shoots in for a double leg but Linic sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Linic feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Linic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Norris swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Norris will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Norris stops Linic from passing to mount.
Norris tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Decent striking displayed by Linic there.
Linic stalks Norris and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Norris's face. Norris staggers backwards, shaken.
Norris gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Linic circles away from the clinch attempt.

Linic lands a slapping body shot.
Linic cracks Norris with a good jab.
Norris is breathing heavily.
Norris misses with a takedown
and Norris takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Linic scores with a hook to the body. Norris takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Linic's corner calls for a 1-2. Linic obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Norris walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Linic connects with the punch.

Linic paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Linic is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Linic moves into range and connects with a jab.
Linic lands a really nice looking cross but Norris seems unphased.

Linic is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Norris is trying to escape and Linic transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Norris is forced to tap! Nice work there by Linic! Very nice indeed!
