PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jarold Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cho King Fang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Poison. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King Fang fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
King Fang dives in and grabs Jackson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes down on King Fang's head and hops out.
Jackson seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
King Fang shoots for a takedown but Jackson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jarold Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cho King Fang.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jackson has hold of one of King Fang's legs. King Fang is fighting the takedown attempt but Jackson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

King Fang escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jackson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jackson stands and throws King Fang's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Jackson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Jackson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jackson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
King Fang is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jackson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jackson's back!

King Fang is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Jackson defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

King Fang is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Jackson has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but King Fang has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Jackson taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. King Fang doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Cho King Fang!
After winning the bout, Cho King Fang thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Jarold Jackson stepped up to the mic, saying 'Your a dead man walking.'.
