Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Django (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green comes to the ring accompanied by Can you hear me now - Hollywood Undead. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matt Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Carlos Django!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Green shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Django tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Green is looking to take a break and control but Django is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Django lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.
Green blocks the strikes from Django.

Django looking for submissions off his back.
Django tries to roll over but Green keeps him under control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Green is trying to control. Django wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
A left lands for Green.
Django drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Django takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Matt Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Django looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Django shoots in for a double leg but Green sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Green has hold of one of Django's legs. Django is fighting the takedown attempt but Green gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Green wants to work for an arm triangle but Django is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Django tries to bench press Green off him but Green keeps the position.
Green misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Django can do anything to dispel that myth.

Django wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Green has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Django's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Django is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Green!
