Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Seymour Ellenbogen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masaru Shimabukuro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shimabukuro has chosen Warrior as his entrance music. Masaru Shimabukuro will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Ellenbogen does no damage.
Ellenbogen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Shimabukuro.
Shimabukuro looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Ellenbogen moves forwards but Shimabukuro connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Ellenbogen gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Shimabukuro prevents the takedown attempt.

Shimabukuro has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Shimabukuro lands an uppercut, right on the button! Ellenbogen tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
