Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Master Yi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sweet Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yi comes into the arena with Master Yi - By Riot blaring out of the sound system. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Master Yi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sweet Jones!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A leg kick checked by Jones.
Yi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Yi connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jones. Jones circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A big left from Jones misses.
Yi is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Jones.
Yi tries to land a front kick but Jones steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Jones checks the leg kick.
Jones clobbers Yi with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Yi swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Yi takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Yi scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jones doesn't seem bothered though.
Jones avoids the head kick by Yi.
Jones checks the leg kick nicely there.
Jones throws out a counter right but Yi avoids it with no problem.
Yi tries to score with a low kick but Jones moves his leg out of the way.
Jones's jab looks to have found its range, popping Yi under the eye.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones throws a body punch but Yi moves out of range.
Yi throws a leg kick that is checked
and Jones counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
The crowd cheers as Jones lands an impressive looking overhand right. Yi doesn't seem phased though.

Yi misses with an uppercut. Jones saw that one coming.
Jones dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Yi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Master Yi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones lands a right hook to the body.
Jones throws a hook but Yi blocks it.
Yi is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Jones.
Yi lunges at Jones with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jones's hand.
Jones misses with a wild body shot.
Yi tries to counter by clinching up but Jones breaks away and moves out of range.
Yi misses with a body kick.
Yi looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Yi throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.
Yi cracks Jones with a good jab.
Jones lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Yi moves forwards but Jones connects with a nice, crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones throws a big shot that misses.
Yi tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Jones manages to circle out of the way.
Jones catches Yi with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Yi scores with a kick to the body.

Yi misses with a low kick as Jones jumps back.
Yi misses with a straight left.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yi moves away.
Nice straight punches there by Yi. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Yi.
We've been informed that Jones has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Yi misses with a hook.
Jones slips a straight right by Yi.
A little jabbing left from Jones on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Yi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Yi defending well as Jones loads up on a big left hand.
Yi scores with a spinning back kick!
Yi misses with a body shot.
Jones misses with a hook. Yi ducked under it nicely.
Jones scores with a nice strike.
Yi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jab, jab by Jones - just one landing.
A nice leg kick lands there from Yi.

Yi walks into a left hand.
Yi is rocked!
Jones cracks Yi with a good jab.
Oh Yi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yi bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Jones comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Yi falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Yi was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sweet Jones!
During a confident post fight interview, Sweet Jones thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
Master Yi spoke after the fight, saying 'Your skills were superior!'.
