The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Freire.

Freire closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Comte Jr quickly recovers to half guard.

Freire has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
The crowd cheers as Comte Jr lands an impressive looking overhand right. Freire doesn't seem phased though.

Comte Jr creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Freire's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Freire drops to his knees and Comte Jr pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
