Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between JD Hogg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Kong Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogg lands a jab to the head.
Hogg stuns Dong with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Dong takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Hogg lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Dong backwards.

It looks like King Kong Dong has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dong lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Dong is trying to break the clinch but Hogg is controlling him.
Our sources have told us that Hogg has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
A left hand lands to the body for Dong.

Dong wants to get back to striking at distance but Hogg won't allow it.

We've been informed that Dong has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Hogg unloads a knee to the mid-section. Dong lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Dong is still on wobbly legs! Can Hogg finish him?
Hogg jerks Dong's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Dong drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Hogg goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Hogg because Dong was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). JD Hogg!
Post fight, JD Hogg took to the microphone: 'I appreciate the opportunity to prove to the fans that this worthless loser can't hold my jock and does not belong in the same cage with me.'.
In defeat, King Kong Dong stepped up to the mic, saying 'BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'.
