Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anzor Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greene has chosen Skindred - Nobody as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Anzor Greene enters the cage!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anzor Greene!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Greene shoots and misses
and Price counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Price gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Greene is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Greene has Price pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Price manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Daniel Price has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anzor Greene.
Price lands a shot to the body.
Greene is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Greene goes for a takedown in the clinch but Price prevents it.

Greene seems a little lost for a moment, as Price dominates the positioning.

Greene pushes Price away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Price gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

You can see the frustration on Greene's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Price in particular looking to stall.
Price seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Greene does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Greene flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Greene blocking the ground and pound attempt from Price.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Greene can do anything to dispel that myth.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Greene trying to hold on to Price's head to control him but Price postures up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Greene will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Greene throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Price's waist but Price gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Greene off to one side.
Anzor Greene seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Greene has a takedown stuffed.
Price lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Greene fails with the takedown.
No luck for Greene with that takedown attempt.

A jab-cross combination lands for Price and sends Greene crashing to the mat! Price follows him down to the mat - Greene regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Price ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Greene moves away.
Greene dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Greene lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Price backs up against the cage.
Greene has his takedown stuffed
and Price counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Greene swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Greene fails with the takedown
and Price counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Price misses with a right hand
and Greene counters with a series of strikes. Price will be more careful next time no doubt.
Price lands a nice hook to Greene's body. Greene takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Price has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Price has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Greene's body.
Price cracks Greene with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Greene from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
