Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yohan Carano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carano scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Stark is looking to regain half guard here but Carano keeps moving and retains side control.

Stark bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Stark shoots for a double leg takedown but Carano sprawls well. He's pushed Stark's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Carano fails with the takedown

and Stark counters by moving into the clinch.
Carano stops a takedown attempt from Stark.
Stark wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Carano has him pressed against the cage.
Stark should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Stark breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stark misses with a straight left.
A head kick misses from Carano.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Carano lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Stark has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Stark and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Carano wants to clinch

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stark throws a series of punches but Carano avoids them all with ease.

Carano lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Stark pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Stark looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Stark not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Stark is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Carano is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Stark wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carano keeps working.

Stark stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Carano to get to his feet.

Carano tries to clinch but Stark is having none of it.
A lazy left from Stark finds it's target.
Carano fails with an attempt to clinch.

Stark drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Stark grinds an elbow into Carano's temple.
Stark throws an elbow but Carano slips to the side and avoids it well.
The ground and pound from Stark seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Carano takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Stark lands some shots froms side control.

Stark is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Carano is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bobby Stark dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Carano with a lazy takedown attempt

and Stark counters with a nice double leg into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stark accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Carano is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Stark is working Carano over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Stark postures up in Carano's guard and throws a big left but Carano blocks it.
Stark working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Stark stands and steps away. Carano gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Carano misses with a takedown attempt - Stark sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Carano walks into a left hand.

Stark drives through and clinches with Carano against the cage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Carano misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Stark feints and as Carano raises his hands in defense, Stark changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Stark throws a big right hand that misses.
Stark stops Carano from standing up.
Stark postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Stark throws and elbow that misses. Carano uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Stark's guard. Nice move by Carano!

Stark pushes Carano off and gets back to his feet.

Stark closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Stark escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stark fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Carano looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Stark lands with an uppercut that bounces Carano off the cage and back into rage.

Bobby Stark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stark tries to escape but Carano is in control.

Carano has an Americana. Stark didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Carano is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Carano hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
