Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, David King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Neander Obeh!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obeh moves in looking to clinch but King pushes him off.
Obeh fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Obeh clinches up with King and pushes him back against the cage.
King taking a breather.
King lands a hook to the side of the head.
Obeh drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Obeh's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Obeh fails to pull guard.
David King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Neander Obeh.
Obeh fails to pull guard.
Obeh tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Obeh tries for a takedown but King manages to get underhooks.
Obeh has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. King avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Obeh takes an elbow to the temple.
King lands on the inside with an uppercut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, King creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
King pushes Obeh back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
King misses with an elbow over the top.
Obeh jumps guard but King stands there with Obeh around his waist. Obeh gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Obeh tries to score a body lock takedown but King shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Knees in the clinch landing for King.
Obeh looks gassed!
King comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
King with a knee to the head.
A nice right hand lands inside from King.


Obeh is rocked!
King lands a knee to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
King stalling in the clinch.

Obeh is still on wobbly legs! Can King finish him?

That's one minute gone in the round.
King working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
King lands with a short punch from the clinch.
King jerks Obeh's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Obeh drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! King goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from King because Obeh was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). David King!
