PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rufus Lockheart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Judkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lockheart comes to the cage accompanied by Gojira - Ocean Planet. On his way into the cage it seems that Rufus Lockheart has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rufus Lockheart seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Judkins shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lockheart but Lockheart pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Judkins shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lockheart defends it nicely.
Lockheart cracks Judkins with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Dave Judkins has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lockheart connects with a looping right hand.
Lockheart lands with a straight right. Judkins didn't see that one coming.

Lockheart pushes Judkins up against the cage in a clinch.

Judkins doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Judkins tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Lockheart lands a nice uppercut.

Lockheart has a couple of punches blocked by Judkins.
Judkins is still on wobbly legs! Can Lockheart finish him?
Lockheart throws a head punch that misses.

Judkins seems to have recovered his senses.

Lockheart is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Judkins is looking to break free of the clinch but Lockheart has double underhooks.
Judkins tries to work over Lockheart's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lockheart creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Judkins is trying to pull guard but Lockheart has him pressed against the cage.
Lockheart lands a left hand that snaps the head of Judkins backwards.
A nice right hand lands inside from Lockheart.
Judkins tries to throw a body punch but Lockheart avoids it by throwing Judkins back against the cage.
Lockheart lands a nice uppercut.
Lockheart makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Lockheart on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Lockheart creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Judkins with a big uppercut! Judkins tries to clinch up but Lockheart pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Judkins to the mat! Judkins covers up and Lockheart unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
