PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Son Figueroa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dino Swierzy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Figueroa misses with an uppercut
and Swierzy makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Figueroa closes the distance and pushes Swierzy back into the cage.

Figueroa wants the takedown. Swierzy is fighting it off but Figueroa persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Swierzy's guard against the cage.

Figueroa could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Swierzy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Figueroa keeps working.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
